12K Padel was started in 2023 by players who kept running into the same problem: padel rackets with professional-grade construction cost £200 or more, and everything under £100 was fibreglass dressed up with a carbon graphic. There wasn't a middle option that was honest about what it was.
We made one.
What 12K Carbon Actually Means
Carbon fibre comes in different weave densities. The K number tells you how many thousands of filaments are in each bundle. 3K is entry-level — more flexible, softer, used in budget frames. 12K is the professional standard — denser weave, stiffer face, better power transfer and more spin. The £200+ branded rackets use it. So do ours.
Every 12K Padel racket is built from 100% 12K carbon throughout the entire frame. Not a carbon cosmetic layer over fibreglass. Not carbon on the face with a cheaper core. The whole thing.
Why the Price Is What It Is
The retail supply chain for sports equipment adds three layers of cost between the factory and your hand: the brand's distribution margin, the distributor's markup, and the retailer's margin. By the time a racket reaches a shop floor, you're paying for all three on top of the manufacturing cost.
