Padel Score Counter

Free padel tool

A free padel score counter for your phone. Tap a team to win the point and it handles the rest: 15, 30, 40, advantage or golden point, games, sets and the tie-break to 7. The yellow ball shows who serves, Undo fixes a mis-tap, and the screen stays on while you play.

At deuce

Golden point: at 40-40 the next point wins the game and the receivers choose who receives.

Match format

Sets go to 6 games with a tie-break to 7 at 6-6. A super tie-break is first to 10.

How to use the padel score counter

  1. Set up. Open Match settings to name the teams, choose advantage or golden point, and pick best of three, a super tie-break third set or one set.
  2. Choose the server. Before the first point, tap Swap serve until the yellow ball sits next to the team serving first.
  3. Tap the team that wins each point. Points, games, sets and the tie-break all move automatically, and the serve passes over after every game.
  4. Change ends when it tells you. A banner appears after the first game and every two games after that, and every six points in a tie-break.
  5. Mis-tap? Press Undo. It steps back one point at a time, all the way to the start of the match.

Frequently asked questions

How does padel scoring work?

Padel uses tennis scoring. Points go 15, 30, 40 and game. The first team to six games, two clear, wins the set, with a tie-break at 6-6. Most matches are best of three sets.

What is the golden point in padel?

At 40-40, instead of playing advantage, one deciding point wins the game. The receiving team chooses which player receives it. Many UK clubs and social games play golden point to keep matches moving.

How does a tie-break work in padel?

At 6-6 the set is decided by a tie-break counted 1, 2, 3. The first team to seven points, two clear, wins the set 7-6. A super tie-break, used in place of a third set, is first to ten.

Who serves in a padel tie-break?

The player next in the serving rotation serves the first point. After that the serve changes every two points, so each team serves one point, then two, then two.

When do you change ends in padel?

After the first game of each set, then after every two games, so on the odd game totals. In a tie-break you change ends every six points.
