How to run an Americano in four steps
- Pick the format. Americano rotates partners on a fixed draw. Mexicano redraws every round from the live table so the leaders meet each other. Team Americano keeps the same pairs all night.
- Add your players. One name per line, or one pair per line for Team Americano. Numbers divisible by four fill every court; with any other number the generator rotates who sits out so it stays even.
- Set courts and scoring. Choose 16, 21, 24 or 32 total points per match, or play to the clock. The draw shows how long the night will run.
- Play and enter scores. Type one side's score and the other side fills in for you. The leaderboard ranks everyone by total points won. Copy the schedule into your WhatsApp group or print it for the noticeboard.

Frequently asked questions
How does a padel Americano work?
Every round you play doubles with a new partner against new opponents. Matches run to a fixed number of total points, usually 16, 21, 24 or 32, and both players on a side bank the points their pair won. The player with the most points after the last round wins.
What is the difference between Americano and Mexicano?
An Americano follows a draw set before the first ball. A Mexicano draws each round from the live table: within each block of four, first and third play second and fourth. The leaders keep meeting each other, so the scores get closer as the night goes on.
How many points should each Americano match be?
24 points is the standard, and takes about ten to twelve minutes. Choose 16 when you have lots of players and little court time, and 32 for longer, more settled matches.
What if my number of players is not a multiple of four?
The generator rotates the sit-outs so nobody misses two rounds before everyone has missed one. If sit-outs are uneven at the end, switch the leaderboard to average points per match for the fairest ranking.
