How much does the Shark Blue weigh?
365 g with a medium to high balance point. That sits in the middle of the standard range for padel rackets, where most players are comfortable between 355 g and 375 g.
Is an £79.95 racket good enough for a beginner?
Yes. The Shark Blue uses a full 12K carbon face and a medium EVA core, the same specification found in rackets that sell for £150 to £300. We sell direct, so there is no distributor margin, no retailer markup and no tour sponsorship in the price.
Is the Shark Blue more powerful than the other two?
No. All three models share an identical build: 365 g, teardrop head, full 12K carbon face, medium EVA core. The difference is the finish. Pick on looks, not performance.
What does 12K carbon actually mean?
The number refers to how many carbon filaments are bundled into each strand of the weave. 3K is softer and more forgiving, 18K is stiffer and suits fast advanced swings, and 12K sits between them. It is the grade most tour-level frames use. Longer version in our carbon grades guide.
